Adax products are based on open systems standards, modular design and common APIs. These features coupled with carrier-grade, reliable hardware, protects a customer's investment and provides a future proof strategy from GSM networks to GPRS, 3G and beyond. The Adax products are flexible and portable and can be used in many combinations to build:
- Signaling Nodes - SS7 or IP based STPs, HLRs, VLRs, SMSCs, databases etc.
- Signaling Gateways and IP Signaling Points for SS7 and IP switching, routing, backhaul and tunneling
- Media Gateways and Softswitches
- Value Added Services applications including roaming, call management, SMS, MMS,
content and pre-paid systems

The Adax products are available in four options to suit individual customer requirements:
The Adax protocol controllers are available across PCI, PCI Express, cPCI and PMC formats and the PMC cards are PICMG 3.X AdvancedTCA (ATCA) compatible. In addition, they support many operating systems, including Solaris SPARC and x86, Linux and VxWorks as well as HP-UX and IBM-AIX, for maximum flexibility in platform choice.
