INTELLINET TECHNOLOGIES AND ADAX PARTNER TO PROVIDE
3G AND IP CORE NETWORK CONNECTIVITY
October 21st, 2009, Chicago, IL - IntelliNet
Technologies and Adax have announced a partnership to deliver 3G and
IP core network
connectivity to telecom equipment vendors at attractive price points.
This collaboration will deliver the connectivity that carrier-grade
networks demand making the solution attractive to service providers.
The partnership means that IntelliNet Technologies will be using
the AdaxPacketRunner (APR), an intelligent ATCA Carrier Blade specifically
designed to meet the I/O requirements of today’s telecom networks,
within its ACTA architecture. It addresses the ATCA I/O challenges
such as flexibility and scalability of the blades, cost prohibition
and redundancy for I/O applications while unlocking the potential of
ATCA for integrated applications requiring SS7/ATM and IP networking.
“
We have a long standing relationship with Adax and its products have
always been able to deliver to the price-performance points we have
needed for signaling solutions in the PCI form factors,” said
Arun Handa, CTO IntelliNet Technologies. “For our ATCA architecture
the APR showed promise with its on-board packet processor and ability
to enable us with ATM AMC cards for ATM connectivity”.
The key benefit of the partnership is the ability of the APR to
allow IntelliNet Technologies to deliver the flexibility to manage
its
current ATM driven application and scale up to a 4G network when
the time is
required. 4G networks are data traffic intensive and demand high
packet processing capabilities so it is increasingly becoming
clear that customers
need a platform to fit the future requirements of today’s telecom
needs.
Drew Sproul, director of product marketing at Adax Inc comments: “IntelliNet
Technologies is renowned for its expertise and has a strong and well
respected solution set. We are excited about working together and feel
its customers will benefit from the increased flexibility and scalability
the APR will provide”.
